Subscription Service Details

Our subscription service is a unique option for those who love to have fresh flowers in the home, but don't necessarily have the time to garden (or want cut their pretty garden flowers down!).

With this service, you have the choice of having a vase arrangement or a bucket of flowers delivered right to your porch on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Subscribers will put their vase or bucket out Friday night and have fresh flowers waiting to greet them on Saturday morning. No need to worry about discarding spent flowers and sanitizing vases - leave that part to us!

The following is our list of subscription options (all prices are for the length of the service and include tax and delivery*):

ARRANGEMENT SUBSCRIPTIONS:

Bi-Weekly (9 total weeks):
Mason Jar Arrangement: $16.00/wk. = $144.00
Galvanized Vase Arrangement: $21.00/wk. = $189.00
Alternating Mason Jar/Galvanized Vase Arrangement: $18.00/wk = $162.00

NOTE: A regular glass vase can be used instead of a mason jar - just let us know your preference!

Weekly:
Mason Jar Arrangement: $16.00/wk. = $288.00
Galvanized Vase Arrangement: $21.00/wk. = $360.00
Alternating Mason Jar/Galvanized Vase Arrangement: $18.00/wk. = $324.00

BUCKETS O' BLOOMS SUBSCRIPTIONS:
$25.00/wk.

Bi-Weekly (9 weeks): = $225.00
Weekly (18 weeks): $450.00
June Only (4 weeks): $100.00
July Only (5 weeks): $125.00
August Only (4 weeks): $100.00
September Only (4 weeks): $100.00

"Buckets o' Blooms" is an option for people who enjoy arranging flowers and would like to use their own vase. Buckets will usually have a minimum of 25 stems (depending on type/size of flowers included). Each bucket should have enough flowers for two medium sized arrangements.

*At this time, subscription delivery service is offered only for Orting residents (anyone within the 98360 zip code-this does include residences outside of city limits).
**All subscription deliveries will include premium flowers, such as Lilies, Gladiolas, Delphinium, Snapdragons, Roses, Peonies, and Bells of Ireland. All flowers will have been handled with loving care and properly conditioned in order to ensure long vase life.
*** For our first growing season, anyone who signs up for either of our weekly subscriptions will also receive at least one surprise Spring arrangement, as well as a Christmas wreath the following holiday season at no additional charge.

You might be wondering what happens if you're on vacation for one of your scheduled deliveries. Not a problem....just let us know that you'll be skipping a week and we'll bring you two the next week. Twice the cheer! Or, you could consider having a neighbor pick up your arrangement...maybe as a thank you for checking the mail/feeding pets, etc. while you're away.

Below are some examples of the types of arrangements available. Keep in mind that available flowers change constantly throughout the growing season. This means that each new arrangement will be unique and a fun surprise to look forward to!

If you are interested in signing up, please download our subscription form. Remember, there will be a very limited number of subscriptions this first year, so sign up early! Also, keep in mind that subscriptions make excellent gifts for Christmas, birthdays, or any other special occasion. :) Just indicate so on the enrollment form. Subscriptions can even be gifted as a surprise...imagine someone's delight the first time they open their door to a surprise arrangement! We will include a note explaining the service and letting them know who was so kind to give them this gift!

The options are endless! Thanks for your interest!

Under Construction

Hello and welcome to Kuntry Girl Flower Farm! Please bear with us; this blog is under construction...as is the farm!

We will be updating the blog as the farm develops...in the meantime, please feel free to e-mail with any questions you might have.

After planting a test crop this year, we are anticipating our first "real" crop starting in Spring 2010. Our fundamental reason for starting the farm is to give the general public the ability to buy fresh flowers from a local grower.

In our opinion, there is nothing quite like fresh flowers in the home. Whether it's a mason jar full of wildflowers or a carefully thought out arrangement, flowers have the ability to brighten any room and bring cheer to any occasion.

How the farm will work:

Since the farm will not be open to the public (i.e.; "u-cut") we will continuously update this blog with a list of our "in season" flowers, accompanied by photos. Then, watch for us at Orting's Saturday Market, which generally runs from July through August. If desired, special orders can be placed via e-mail and picked up at the market.

Our farm is family-run, which does allow some flexibility. For example, if one wanted to place a large order for a wedding, summer party, etc. we can offer a more "one on one" approach, such as setting up a meeting to view samples and ideas.

Another option for those who live in Orting is to sign up for our subscription service. With this service you can have fresh flowers waiting on your doorstep each Saturday morning for the number of weeks that you choose during our growing season. This service will be offered to a limited number of customers for our first growing season, so you will want to sign up early! Flower subscriptions also make wonderful gifts for new brides, new moms, wives, parents...anyone really! Who doesn't love flowers? We will have gift certificates available for those who would like to give the gift of flowers. More details on this service to come in the near future.

We take great pride in the quality of our flowers, as well as our committment to responsible farming practices. We practice organic methods of farming, focusing on building healthy soil that our flowers thrive in, without the use of chemicals.

We look forward to making new friends in our community and are eagerly anticipating our first growing season!

Thank you for stopping by our page...updates to follow!
